ATV Website Forum Meeting April 2007


Well, I finally managed to get to my first ATV WEBSITE forum meetup. Okay, so there's only been two, but it was great to get to meet some of the most active forum members. A great day was had by all.

Meeting up with myself were (in no order whatsoever) Peter Thomas and Lee Bannister from the excellent TISWAS ONLINE website, Gill (Miss ATV), Rob Lubbock, Matthew Gulliver (ATV Endcapman), Oliver Ashmole (ATV London), Monkhouser, and Monkhouser's Dad.

As soon as I got to Birmingham at 12pm on Sunday 29th April, I got lost and ended up going past the ATV Centre twice before I found somewhere to park! Finally I parked up and made my way to the great centre that was ATV for the first time since 1985 when I came with school.

Straight away it was like I knew you guys so well, even though we had only been 'talking' as such on the forum. After everyone made it we made our way around the outside of the centre, and took some great photographs, got security a little annoyed (we're really sorry), were stopped by a lovely lady who did her work experience at the centre, got stopped by some lads who thought ATV were 'great' and 'the best thing ever', and then went for a drink and food!

It was so great to meet up with a group of fans who had so much to say and contribute. There was a lot to learn from you guys, and still so much we can talk about on both the forum, and our next meeting.
