Media Archive for Central England's Website Survey

Postby MACE Archive on Mon Mar 22, 2010 9:34 pm

I'm contacting the forum today from the Media Archive for Central England (MACE). We hold the ATV's regional news collection, ATV Today, as well as some fantastic Midlands documentaries made by ATV and subsequently, Central Television.

We're in the early stages of redeveloping our website, http://www.macearchive.org and we need your help.

We don't want to make assumptions about the resources you'd like to see on our site and we're keen to gather opinion on our web development from as many people as possible so we can make it a useful online tool.

Could you take a couple of minutes to complete our survey and pass this onto anyone you think would be interested in what we do.

On completion of the survey you'll also be entered into our optional PRIZE DRAW to win a DVD of a title of your choice from our collection (subject to copyright clearance).

Any questions, please don't hesitate in contacting me.

You can take the survey here - http://survey.constantcontact.com/surve ... /questions

Thank you in advance for your time.

Best wishes

Emma

Hi Emma,

Many thanks for taking the time to join the forum. As you may be aware, we have been working with MACE on a number of occasions in relation to the documentary that we are making about the ATV Studios in Birmingham.

I'd recommend that everyone participate in this survey - it's right up our collective street isn't it! We've already used the websearch tools and found them very useful indeed in the research stages of the programme.

Good luck with the site, and we look forward to working with you again soon!

Kind regards,

Lee Bannister

Hi Greg

I've had an email from an AOL user saying the link wouldn't work so it may be a web browser issue, I'm not sure.

Hopefully the link below will work for you:

If not, we're also on Facebook or you can link through our blog www.macearchive.wordpress.com

Thanks for responding to my forum entry :)

Hi Lee

No, I didn't know you'd been in touch regarding the DVD, but I've only been with MACE since October so this may be why. You may know that three of us at MACE used to work at Carlton TV so I've handled the ATV film before in a past life!

Hope to hear from you again in the future...I'll be looking at the forums more often now I've joined.

Best wishes

Hi Em !

Welcome to ATV Land, and thanks for the updated link. I couldn't access it initially either. Anyway, I've left some comments and wish you good luck in your new role at MACE.

Cheers, Tony

Hi Emma

May I also say a massive hello to ATVLAND!

I'll second what Lee says. Everyone on this forum must do this survey. ATV, and indeed ITV in the Midlands is very important to us, and having MACE on board really is a fantastic bonus.

I hope we can keep in contact Emma. Im sure you would like what we have done so far with the production.

Regards
Steve
